A Look Behind the Scenes of Our Brand Photoshoot in Fuerteventura
As a photographer, I am always excited to work with clients who have a passion for their product and a clear vision for how they want it to be portrayed. That’s exactly what I found in Marie Lebourgeois, the French designer behind the brand: Carry My Surf – the new surfboard carrying bag.
Marie’s bag, crafted from recycled marine plastics, not only makes it easier for surfers to walk to the beach hands-free, but also has a strong commitment to sustainability. As a surfer herself, she wanted to create a product that not only met a need in the surfing community, but also had a positive impact on the environment and help clean up the oceans.
When Marie approached my team (Andy Cannon and Silvia Beck (Silvia’s Work) and I to help with her crowdfunding campaign, we were thrilled to be a part of bringing her vision to life. We traveled from our base on the Canary Island of Tenerife to Fuerteventura and together with Marie scouted out multiple locations to showcase the bag’s versatility and durability.
The photoshoot was fantastic and Marie was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was hands-on in the creative process and brought with her some fantastic models and talented friends and all who were fully invested in her vision. We captured everything from action shots of the bag in use on the beach to lifestyle shots of it being worn around town.
We also shot a crowdfunding video to showcase the bag, Marie’s ethos behind the bag and its features. The video was an integral part of the campaign and helped Marie’s crowdfunding efforts to be a huge success.
It’s always a great feeling to see a client’s hard work pay off and Marie’s bag is now available for purchase and is quickly becoming a favorite among surfers everywhere. We were thrilled to help Marie to turn her vision into reality, and we can’t wait to see what she comes up with next.

It was a pleasure working with Andy on our photoshoot for our wedding photos in Tenerife. Andy is extremely thorough, and went above and beyond to help us capture beautiful moments to remember the day forever. Before even meeting, he took time to have several calls with us to help us decide on outfits, locations, poses, and many other logistical details. He also recommended someone to help my wife with her make up and hair during the photoshoot. During the photoshoot, we spent sunrise to dusk driving to multiple scenic spots in Tenerife. We captured stunning shots in the desert, beach, a picturesque village, and in Teide. His editing skills are also top notch. We were very pleased with the results once he sent us the final versions of the photos. During the whole process, we felt reassured that Andy would do a great job. He is clearly passionate about photography and wants his clients to be happy. He is also great to chat with; we had a lot of fun spending the day with him.

Andy is a very talented photographer, cordial, professional and the shooting I did with him was simply an amazing experience.
